How do you define a hero? What does it take to be a hero? Are
heroes born or made? Do you strive to be a hero? Can anyone
set out to be a hero? Do heroes perceive themselves to be heroes?
-
Are heroes different than role models? If so, how are they
different? Can someone with poor character be a hero? What is
the primary character trait of a hero?
-
Are we commanded by God to be heroes or heroic?
Use the Bible Study
Tool to the right to help you on this. This would make a great
family study topic.

would you be and why? Can you make up a super hero? What would
your super powers be? What would your name be? What would your
costume look like? Have fun with this.

How do you define success for your child? “Graduates from a prestigious college.” “Nabs a high-paying job.” “Settles down with a nice family.” Sounds good. But what if you got it all wrong?
What about greatness? Where does it fit in? “If you aim your children at anything less than greatness, you’ll set them up to miss the whole point of their lives,” says author Tim Kimmel. In Raising Kids for True Greatness, Kimmel turns the definition of success on its head and guides you in preparing your child for a life that will easily eclipse the goals of those who are merely successful.
